Janine, an enormously popular superstar whose fame goes beyond the adult film world, returned to the Vivid Entertainment Group in 2004 after a brief hiatus. As she once again became a Vivid Girl, the classic beauty with her fabulous eyes and trademark luxurious blonde hair also announced that she would begin performing with men; her previous film forays had been with women only.
A self-described tomboy while growing up, she chose to go into modeling rather than attend college on an athletic scholarship after she was offered a Penthouse centerfold on the basis of a test shoot. Her Penthouse magazine and video appearances helped launch her career in adult films. She was invited by the celebrated Andrew Blake to do her first XXX film, Hidden Obsessions in 1993 and it became a huge success. Subsequently Janine signed with Vivid and starred in best selling films such as Blondage and the popular Where the Boys Aren't series. In addition she has won numerous AVN Awards, including for Best All-Girl Sex Scene.
Said Janine upon returning to Vivid: I feel peaceful and very at ease with myself today. I had a mental roadblock about working with men on film, but that is gone now and I feel totally liberated and as excited as a schoolgirl at the thought of working with guys. I've watched the business change over the years and hope that adult will never go so mainstream that it loses its edge. I love the idea of doing things that are just a little naughty. I like being the girl in the raincoat forbidden.
Famed adult photographer Suze Randall says of Janine: One of a handful of giant sex superstars, this young woman has it all - an amazing body, a powerful personality, enormous charm and an acute business sense.Another biographer says she has been called the most beautiful woman to ever enter the Adult Entertainment business. She's carved out an impressive resume, with only top quality projects, such as work with Penthouse, and now Vivid Video.
